Neck pain can be one of the most difficult and annoying pains our body can withstand.

Symptoms can vary and be accompanied by:

  • Tingling in the arms
  • Muscle pain
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Jaw and throat pain
  • Tenderness
  • Weakness of the arms
  • Visual disturbances/Vertigo
  • Loss of Balance

There are many causes of neck pain and as physiotherapists we take a holistic look at your lifestyle and habits including things like your work station, sleeping posture and fitness regime to prevent further injury and enable you to make a full recovery.

It is important to diagnose the causes of your neck pain as it can also be an indicator of larger scale problems such as: osteoarthritis, cervical spondylosis, spinal stenosis, neck injury like whiplash, a herniated disc or a pinched nerve (cervical radiculopathy).

Whilst neck pain is a rather common issue, it shouldn’t be taken lightly and it is important to start a physiotherapy treatment to prevent the neck pain from worsening or recurring.

At Aspire Physiotherapy Bunbury we aim to optimise your daily quality of life and keep your body in it’s best possible condition.

Covid-19/Coronavirus update

We Are Open and Here to Help!

With the Covid-19 / Coronavirus pandemic the world is facing an uncertain and challenging time. As your healthcare partner, we understand and share the concern and anxiety you may feel about the Covid-19 virus in Bunbury, WA, Australia and globally.

At Aspire Physiotherapy Bunbury the health and wellbeing of our clients and staff is always our highest priority. Whilst social distancing is an important step to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus, your pain and comfort remain our priority. This is why the Australian Government considers allied health an "essential service", and the Department of Health encourages us to remain open to help reduce the load on our amazing local GPs and Hospital staff.

To ensure we can continue to offer the high-quality physiotherapy service our clients have become accustomed to, we have escalated our already stringent infection control measures to mitigate the risk of infection. The systems we have put in place are guided by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (our professional body) and the Department of Health, and will be monitored and updated accordingly as the pandemic evolves inline with their recommendations.

If you show any signs of illness, such as fever, cough, sore throat or shortness or breath please call us (08 9770 1107) before you book or attend your appointment.

As a relatively small practice, the number of people we interact with is limited and considered low-volume. We have cancelled our group rehabilitation and pilates sessions and have spaced out our appointment times to minimise the congregation of people and allow for our disinfection procedures between appointments. All clients are required to follow our hygiene practices inside the clinic. Clients have the option to wait in their car and be notified once the physiotherapist is available (simply phone us upon arrival). In addition we offer Online Physiotherapy Services so you can access the same exceptional level of care as our in-clinic services from the comfort of your own home, find out more HERE

Thank you for your trust and support as we continue to keep our focus on the health and wellbeing of you and your family.
